At Auction: Sotheby’s Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, London

On first comparison, Sotheby’s sale of Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art seems to have much in common with the Christie’s sale of the same name, both of which are now in previews in London. If I found myself in London, I would happily visit each sale and count myself lucky.  But since I cannot be in London right now – more’s the pity – I am relegated to viewing the two sales online only, and online is where the similarities disappear . . .
