Book Review: Nick Alm

Recently, when I was preparing a few posts on Nick Alm’s color palette and on his solo show with Arcadia Contemporary, I found myself absorbed with his Instagram account.  While leafing through its images, I was entertained by photos of his new studio in Lidingö, by pictures of new artworks in progress, and by some really wonderful detail shots of some of his completed paintings.  I was concentrating on finding some close-ups of his most recent works, when I came across a post from September 0f 2016 which read, “My new book is out!”  My jaw dropped.  How could I have missed a book on Alm . . .
