Prepping an Aluminum Panel

I do not like painting on stretched canvas.  I never have.  Mostly, this is because I do not like the give of the canvas when I press the brush against it.  Even when I have stretched my own canvases, and made them inadvisably tight, they still felt too “springy.”  I prefer working on rigid surfaces….
