Sight Size drawing, used in ateliers and workshops throughout the world, is one of the oldest and most effective ways to draw. As term might imply, you are drawing in a “one to one” ratio meaning; your drawing and subject are the same size when viewed from a distance. This allows for a direct comparison and quick assessments of the: Proportion, rhythm, and gesture – these are the elements of a solid draftsman and in turn, a competent painter.
This workshop offers a crash course in the use and application of Sight Size drawing. This course is a great introduction for those wanting to strengthen their drawing foundation and broaden there technical repertoire. This class is open to people of all experience and skill levels, and there are no prerequisites required.
