I didn’t get to see Facing Survival, the exhibition of David Kassan’s portraits of Holocaust survivors, when it was recently on view at the USC Fisher Museum of Art.  I wanted to, but it was on the opposite coast from me, and making the trip for the show just wasn’t in the cards.  Instead, I settled for the next best choice – the catalog to the exhibit . . .
