Duffy Sheridan

by Matthew Innis |

“The Marshall Gallery of Fine Art is hosting a show of recent oil paintings by Duffy Sheridan, who has been painting since boyhood.  His father was also an artist and encouraged him to paint anything and everything while the family traveled the world.  In 1991, Sheridan returned to the United States and now lives in Arizona.  The teachings of the Baha’i faith have become the primary influence on Sheridan’s life and work, spurring him ‘to magnify the dignity and nobility of the human spirit and the singular beauty of all things.  When people look at one of my paintings, I’d like them to see that humans, indeed, are noble beings.'”
