Sarah Sedwick: Painting the Dynamic Still Life

by ingridO |

About this workshop: Would you like to create more realistic still life paintings, while loosening up your brushwork at the same time? Join Oregon oil painter Sarah Sedwick for a fun and intense three-day workshop focused on the still life as a tool to expand your artistic vision. We’ll delve into the essentials of painting – value, color, and brushstrokes, exploring both traditional and non-traditional still life subjects with an emphasis on keeping your work loose and painterly.  Sarah earned a BFA from Maryland Institute, College of Art, with a focus on illustration and painting, and a minor degree in art history. Her work focuses mainly on still life and portraiture, with the occasional nude and plein air landscape thrown in.
Cost is $450
