Throughout his career, Joseph Lorusso has concentrated on honing his powers of observation, especially as it concerns to color, texture, form and composition. Says Lorusso, “I believe truly great art serves as a trigger into something deeper within all of us.” Lorusso’s paintings have gained notoriety by their ability to connect with the viewer, resonating in a way that is intimate and personal.

Brad Aldridge has made landscape pictures most of his life. “I searched for metaphors in the landscape in an attempt to explain the powerful hold these sorts of places had over me,” says Aldridge. “I suppose, however, if I had to define a central message that I derived from the world at an early age…the message is this: In spite of a long hard winter, spring comes again.”

With a love for nostalgia, Francis Livingston paints places which may no longer exist or that have lost their luster. His bold, impressonistic paintings take the viewer back in time to the day when buildings with ornate embellishments were in their prime. This artist’s urban cityscapes are reminiscent of the Ash Can School of the early 20th century. He seeks to portray a unique spirit and give us a sense of the pulse of life which once existed.
