The upcoming sale at Heritage Auctions is a hodge-podge.  It consists of Western Art, Golden Age Illustration, Californian Impressionism, landscape art, Modern Art, wildlife art, sculpture, Hudson River School, and a variety of other 19th and 20th century art, and it’s all been grouped together under the umbrella of “American Art.” Unlike other mixed-bag sales, however . . .
