Video Review: The Layers of Portrait Painting with Joshua LaRock

When I say there has been no video I looked forward to more than Joshua LaRock’s “The Layers of Portrait Painting,” it is no exaggeration.  This is because, to me, LaRock is one of the best contemporary painters of the human figure.  Among so many young talents working today, he is the one that comes first to my mind when I am asked who now can paint like Bouguereau, and he is top of my (very long) list of painters from whom I feel there is much I could learn.  From the moment LaRock announced he was working on the video . . .
